David Coleman David consults and teaches in areas of leadership and people management, drawing insights from his career as, variously, factory worker, personnel manager, University lecturer and line manager with profit responsibility. He studied Psychology and Economics at the London School of Economics, and for three years at Templeton College Oxford researched organisational change in six major organisations.
	Mike Thompson Mike has consulted and tutored in over 60 countries in all five continents. For most of his professional career he worked for IBM Germany and IBM Europe. His last responsibility was to lead IBM Management Development and Reengineering in Europe, Middle East and Africa. He is now an independent business consultant. He currently leads and delivers Leadership programmes globally.

Significant management writers Kurt Lewin, 1930 - Fayol, 1949 - Koontz and O'Donnell, 1955 - Fayol 1949 - Blake and Mouton, 1964 - Likert 1961 - Lawrence and Lorsch 1967 - March and Simon,1958 - Cyert and March, 1964 and later David McClelland , John Atkinson, George Litwin and Robert Stringer contributed to the early research of organisational/psychological climate, motives, and motivation. More recent researchers, John D Mayer and Peter Solovey, Daniel Goleman, Richard Boyatzis and Annie McKee have continued this research and linked this with emotional intelligence.
